2025 RECAP

2025: A Year of Global Engagement and Grounded Leadership

Looking back on 2025, this year marked a deepening of responsibility, reach, and reflection. It was a year defined not only by movement across borders and institutions, but by the challenge of holding community, culture, and accountability at the centre of that momentum. 2025 was a year of alignment between values and visibility, ambition and responsibility, movement and grounding. The work of this year reinforced that leadership is not measured by proximity to power, but by how consistently one remains accountable to community, culture, and purpose while navigating complex systems. Each space entered, each conversation held, and each initiative advanced added clarity to the kind of impact I am committed to building: thoughtful, Indigenous-led, and rooted in long-term change.

As I look ahead, the focus is less on acceleration and more on depth. strengthening what has been built, carrying lessons forward with care, and continuing to bridge local realities with global conversations. The work continues, guided by the same principles that shaped this year: equity, integrity, and intergenerational responsibility.
