2025 EU-Arctic Youth Dialogue

2024 - 2025

  • The Arctic Youth Dialogue is an EU initiative designed to foster dialogue, understanding, and cooperation among young people with a connection to or interest in the Arctic. Alongside consortium members and my fellow co-facilitator, we led 35 youth from across Europe and Arctic states who came together in Finland in June 2025 to share ideas and experiences on Arctic topics.

  • The theme of the 2025 Dialogue was “Youth Needs-Based Suggested Actions for a Just and Sustainable Transition.” The outcomes were presented during the Arctic Youth Dialogue at the EU Arctic Forum and the Indigenous Peoples’ Dialogue.

  • Emerging Leaders Program Participant; aims to elevate, cultivate and support the next generation of Black, Indigenous and people of colour (BIPOC) leaders in the climate community. As the premier convening of visionaries and practitioners building the circular economy, Circularity (April 29-May 1, Denver, CO) convened leaders from across the sustainability community – including professionals driving corporate strategy, product design, supply chain, marketing, policy, and more.

Oxford Net Zero

2025

  • The Global Youth Climate Training Programme (GYCT) is a capacity-building programme that equips people aged 16-35 and below with the knowledge and confidence necessary to engage in international climate policy. This project is a collaboration between the Global Youth Coalition (GYC), a coalition of climate youth changemakers, and researchers at the University of Oxford (Oxford Net Zero, Oxford Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment).

Arctic Encounter's Summit

  • The Arctic Encounter’s (AES) Northern Vision Fellows Program a unique opportunity for early-career professionals aged 18-29 to expand their networks within the Arctic. Participants received an all-access pass to the 2025 Arctic Encounter Symposium (AES) in Anchorage. This exclusive pass not only provides registration to all conference sessions but also unlocks the doors to mentoring, guidance, and connections with VIPs throughout the week.

Society for Marine Mammalogy

2025 - Present

  • Appointed to the Indigenous Representation Subcommittee within the Society for Marine Mammalogy’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Contribute to advancing culturally sensitive marine mammal research and equitable collaboration with Indigenous custodians of local territories. Support the development of best practice guidelines and initiatives that strengthen Indigenous inclusion and representation in marine science.

The Youth Harbour

  • Selected as a member of the 9th cohort of The Youth Harbour’s Youth Steering Committee (YSC), a national advisory body supporting youth-led climate action in Canada. Contribute to shaping grantmaking priorities, reviewing applications, and advising on program design to ensure equitable funding for diverse youth climate initiatives. Engage in discussions, outreach, and policy input to strengthen FES’s mission of empowering youth to take bold, meaningful climate action.
