As a member of Manitoba’s Environment and Climate Youth Advisory Council, I co-authored A First Look at Net-Zero in Manitoba: Youth Perspectives (2023–2024)—a report providing recommendations to guide the province’s pathway toward net-zero by 2050. Our work emphasized holistic, Manitoba-specific climate solutions rooted in equity, Indigenous knowledge, and intergenerational justice, while calling for youth inclusion in decision-making and the development of community-led climate policies.
